Friends of the Rockaway Borough Public Library

Who are the Friends?
The Friends of the Library is a volunteer group devoted to promoting and supporting the library as a vital part of the community through public relations and fundraising events. Membership in the Friends is open to all persons  who actively support the purpose and activities of the group. For information about joining or details about the programs of the Friends, please contact the Library.

Activities of the Friends
The Friends meet as needed at the Library.  The Friends maintain a Book Sale Room on the lower level of the Library of "nearly new" books and media for children, teens, and adults, and thank you for your donations and purchases.

The Friends' past purchases have included: books, media, carpeting and furniture for the children's room, and exterior signs for the library building. Our annual holiday wreath is courtesy of the Friends.
